Here, Steffi draws a fine table scene, such as a fruit bowl with apples, by hand with a brown underglaze pencil before glazing.

The cup shares its form with the Happy Edition coffee cup: cylindrical with straight walls and a stable base, Ø 7.5 cm and H 6.5 cm, holding 190 ml. A good size for flat white, cappuccino or filter coffee.

The whole cup, inside and out, is covered in a transparent glossy glaze. The brown pencil lines sit underneath it, sealed into the surface like a drawing under glass, against the warm creme tone of the clay. Each cup is handcrafted, hand-drawn and fired at 1220 °C, and the finished ceramic is food-safe. Because the illustration is drawn freehand, every cup is slightly different.

Limited edition: the whole collaboration comprises just 150 cups and 30 vases.

1 piece · Ø 7.5 cm · H 6.5 cm · 190 ml · 320 g · Stoneware, fired at 1220 °C · Brown underglaze pencil illustration under a transparent gloss glaze, inside and out · Dishwasher safe · Made in Germany · Limited edition

Material, origin and care

Stoneware, handmade in Germany.

Food-safe and dishwasher safe.

Oven use is possible.

Microwave use is not recommended.

Freezer use is possible, but not recommended.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0550/2314/1024/files/2610_coffee_cup_steffi-bauer-viola-beuscher-handpainted_brown-19.jpg?v=1792673491
