The palo santo (Bursera graveolens) is sustainably harvested from naturally fallen branches in Peru and Ecuador, then aged before being cut into sticks of roughly 10 cm.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe saucer is shaped from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe and heat-resistant without further sealing. The interior is finished with a single transparent glossy glaze that lets the natural cream tone of the fired clay come through unaltered.
