Open Studio Membership
Starting in February 2024 we're introducing a new way to work with clay: the Open Studio! Whether you're a hobby potter, aspiring ceramicist, artist, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome to book a spot and work independently in our well-equipped, cozy space. Come and create with us!
Open Studio offering
The Open Studio is designed for those who want to create pottery independently while enjoying the company of others. Sessions take place every Saturday from 11:00 to 15:00 in our studio, encouraging participants to take a hands-on, self-guided approach to pottery.
The studio is fully equipped with 7 pottery wheels, an extruder, and a handbuilding workbench—providing everything you need to bring your ideas to life. Materials include two types of clay and a variety of glazes. Complimentary coffee, water, and a fridge for your snacks are available, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
To maintain a relaxed atmosphere and ensure fair access to equipment, Open Studio slots are limited to 7 participants. An assistant will be on-site to answer any questions about the space, tools, or materials. Our team also handles all firings and maintenance, so you can focus fully on your work.
Open Studio costs
The package price includes access to the studio every Saturday from 11:00 to 15:00. It also covers unlimited clay usage during the making process. However, there is a firing fee: you pay for the pieces you choose to fire (€10 per kilo). Firing costs are settled during the glazing session at the end of the month.
The Open Studio package provides access to 4 Saturdays per month, totaling 16 hours (11:00 to 15:00 each session). The first three Saturdays are dedicated to throwing and handbuilding, while the final Saturday focuses on glazing. If the month includes a fifth Saturday, it is not part of the package.
- Monthly Package: 390,00 € per month
- 3 Month Package: 370,50 € per month (5% off)
- 6 Month Package: 351,00 € per month (10% off)
All packages are billed monthly.
How our subscriptions work
Monthly Package
- The monthly package is billed at the beginning of each month.
- You can cancel your package up to 14 days before the end of the current month.
- Memberships can be paused with notice 14 days prior to the end of the ongoing month.
- To switch to a larger 3- or 6-month package, please notify us at least 14 days before the end of the month.
3 Month Package
- The 3-month package is billed at the beginning of the first month and runs for a minimum of 3 months.
- You can cancel this package up to 14 days before the end of the third month.
- Memberships can be paused with notice 14 days prior to the end of the final month.
- To switch to a smaller monthly package or a larger 6-month package, please notify us at least 14 days before the end of the last month.
6 Month Package
- The 6-month package is billed at the beginning of the first month and runs for a minimum of 6 months.
- You can cancel this package up to 14 days before the end of the sixth month.
- Memberships can be paused with notice 14 days prior to the end of the final month.
- To switch to a smaller package, please notify us at least 14 days before the end of the last month.
Open Studio requirements
To book an Open Studio spot, you must have completed at least one Clay Class with us or provide proof of experience at another studio. It's important that you follow our studio rules and help maintain the Open Studio as a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
For this reason, all participants are required to attend a short introduction session on the first Saturday. This session will cover all workflows, structures, and regulations in the studio.
Respect for the space and responsible use of equipment are essential requirements for booking a slot. This ensures that the studio's infrastructure is maintained and that the Open Studio remains a pleasant and collaborative environment for everyone.
