Coffee Cup - Yun Neon Yellow
Product Description
A stoneware coffee cup from the Yun series, fully glazed in glossy neon yellow, made in Germany.
The form is rounded with softly curved walls and a stable base, Ø 9 cm and H 6.5 cm, holding 240 ml — a larger volume well suited to flat white, cappuccino, or filter coffee, with enough room for latte art. The Yun shape sits naturally in the hand and reads softer than the cylindrical Nomi line.
Each cup is thrown on the wheel from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. A bright glossy neon yellow glaze is applied to the whole cup — interior and exterior — and develops a clean, even surface in firing. The colour reads sharper than a standard yellow and sets a clear accent at the table.
For specialty coffee at home or in a café setting, particularly for milk-based drinks where the rounded form supports a comfortable grip.
