The Spring Drop is a seasonal release from our studio in Germany: bright glazes and small breakfast-table forms, made in limited numbers alongside the permanent range.
What is in the collection
The drop is built around breakfast. Egg cups come in two forms, a slim cylinder at Ø 5.5 cm and H 5 cm in neon yellow and ice blue, and a lower, wider pink at Ø 6 cm and H 3.5 cm. Breakfast bowls follow in the Wavy form with a hand-waved rim and in Nomi Iceblue at Ø 15.5 cm. Yun coffee cups arrive in red, pink and neon yellow, and vases run from a 16 cm creme vase to the 21 cm big vase, with a carafe holding 800 ml for the table.
Colours
The palette is deliberately louder than the permanent range: neon yellow, glossy pink, red, and a cool ice blue. The forms stay the ones already in the collection, so a bright egg cup or bowl sits next to everyday Creme and Iceblue tableware without reading as a separate set.
How the pieces are made
Every piece is thrown on the potter's wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing, and the tableware takes the dishwasher. Seasonal glazes are mixed for the drop and are not restocked once sold out, so colour is the part of a spring piece that will not come back.
