Product Description
A small stoneware vase in a soft creme glaze, hand-thrown in our studio in Germany.
The form is gently tapered with a narrowed neck, Ø 9 cm and H 16 cm. The neck gathers stems on its own, so a single branch, dried stems or a loose handful of flowers hold their position without an arrangement.
Each vase is thrown on the potter's wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and holds water without further sealing. The creme glaze is applied by hand and follows the throwing rings left in the surface, so tone and gloss shift slightly from piece to piece.
For fresh flowers, dried stems or a single branch, and quiet enough to stand empty on a shelf.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
