The Pankratiushof Edition is a handled stoneware mug developed by Viola Beuscher Ceramics together with Pankratiushof, a farm in Hechtsheim, near Mainz. It was designed for a proper cup of filter coffee: a generous capacity and a wide, easy-grip handle that sits comfortably in the hand.
Every mug is thrown, handled, and glazed by hand in our ceramics studio. Six people are involved in making each piece — from the first pull on the wheel to the final glaze firing — so that every detail holds up to daily use. Each mug measures roughly 8.5 cm across and 8.5 cm tall, in a warm yellow glaze, and is dishwasher safe.
The mug is already in everyday use at Pankratz, the restaurant on Pankratiushof, and is now available both in our online shop and in the Pankratiushof farm shop in Hechtsheim.
