We have tried to answer the most common questions.
Shipping & Returns
How long does shipping take?
Shipping usually takes 3–5 business days within Germany. International delivery times may vary depending on the destination.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. If your country is not available as a shipping option in our shop, feel free to contact us and we will find a solution.
How much are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on the destination and order size and are shown clearly during checkout.
Is my order shipped insured?
Yes, all orders are shipped insured and carefully packed.
Who covers the return shipping costs?
Return shipping costs are covered by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Can I return my order?
Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Custom-made or personalized items are excluded from returns.
When will I receive my refund?
Once the return has been received and checked, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days using the original payment method.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
As long as your order has not yet been shipped, we will try to accommodate changes or cancellations. Please contact us as soon as possible.
What should I do if my ceramic arrives damaged?
If your handmade ceramic arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos – we will arrange a replacement or refund for you.
Orders
Where is my order?
Once your order has been shipped from our studio, you’ll receive an email with the invoice and a tracking link, allowing you to follow your package. Shipping days are calculated from the day your order leaves our studio.
If you haven’t received this email yet, please reach out to us at hello@violabeuscher.com. Remember to include your order number or order confirmation in your email. Our office team is available Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (CET+1).
If you have an account on our website, you can also find the tracking information for each shipped order in the ‘Order history’ section.
How can I apply a discount code?
Discount codes can be applied either when viewing your cart or during checkout in the “Add gift card / promo code” field. Please be aware that some products are not eligible for discounts.
Additionally, discounts cannot be applied retroactively after an order is placed, and only one discount may be used per order.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Maestro, along with Klarna invoices. Additionally, we offer contactless payment options such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mobile Pay, and PayPal.
Please note that the availability of some payment methods may vary by location.
Will all items be shipped together?
Orders are usually shipped in one package. If a split shipment is necessary, we will inform you in advance.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Address changes are possible as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Please contact us promptly.
What happens if an item is no longer available?
If an item is unexpectedly unavailable, we will contact you promptly and offer a suitable solution.
Can I combine multiple orders?
If your orders have not yet been shipped, we will try to combine them. Please contact us briefly.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
As long as your order has not yet been shipped, we will try to accommodate changes or cancellations. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Where can I buy handmade ceramics?
You can buy handmade ceramics from Viola Beuscher online at violabeuscher.com or in person at our studio in Gutleutstraße 16a in Frankfurt.
Why do different delivery times appear for items in my order?
Different delivery times may appear if an item is currently not available in sufficient quantity. In this case, we will make the item or items for you, which can take a little longer.
Please let us know if you would like a partial shipment. Otherwise, we will ship all items together once your order is complete.
Are Viola Beuscher ceramics made in Germany?
Yes, our ceramics are handmade in Germany – every piece goes through traditional craft steps, making it a unique object with its own character.
Which cups are best for cappuccino, Nomi or Yun?
Both cups are great for coffee, but if you're into Latte Art, we would recommend the Yun shape.
Can color and shape vary slightly?
As each piece is made by hand, slight variations in color, shape, and surface can occur. This is intentional and not a defect.
Are small irregularities a reason for complaint?
Small irregularities are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.
Clay Classes & Workshops
Where can I learn pottery in Frankfurt?
At Viola Beuscher Studio in Gutleutstraße 16a in Frankfurt we regularly offer pottery courses for beginners and advanced students – bookable directly at violabeuscher.com.
How much does a pottery course in Frankfurt cost?
Our pottery courses in Frankfurt start at around €315 per person, depending on format and duration – all current prices are listed on violabeuscher.com.
Do I need prior experience to join a clay class?
No, our beginner pottery courses are designed specifically for people with no prior experience and start with the basics on the pottery wheel.
Which classes do you offer?
We offer beginner classes, intermediate classes, weekend intensives, and open studio sessions for independent practice.
How long does a pottery course at Viola Beuscher take?
Our pottery courses last between one afternoon and several weeks, depending on the format – the exact duration is shown for every booking on violabeuscher.com.
Are materials and firings included in the course fee?
Yes, clay, glazes, and required firings are included in the course fee unless stated otherwise.
How many pieces can I make during a class?
The number of pieces depends on the class format and your individual working pace.
When can I pick up my finished pieces?
After glazing and firing, pieces usually need a few weeks. We will notify you once they are ready for pickup.
What do I need to bring to a pottery course?
For a pottery course you only need clothes that can get dirty – clay, tools, glazes and firings are all provided by our studio in Frankfurt.
Are the classes held in German or English?
Classes are usually held in German. All of our pottery instructors speak both German and English fluently. Instructions and guidance can also be given in English if needed.
Can I cancel or reschedule a class?
Unfortunately, cancellation or rescheduling is not possible, as our classes are leisure activities scheduled for a fixed date and follow a time-bound structure.

All classes are sold out, what now?
If all our clay classes are fully booked, we suggest subscribing to our newsletter. With our newsletter, we'll keep you informed about new clay class dates.

The studio is run by a team of ceramicists and staff who work and produce together in our Frankfurt studio.
Where is the Viola Beuscher studio located?
The Viola Beuscher pottery studio is located at Gutleutstraße 16a, 60329 Frankfurt am Main – in the Gutleutviertel, close to the main train station.
What are the opening hours of the Viola Beuscher studio in Frankfurt?
Our studio in Frankfurt is open every Friday from 4 to 7 pm – outside these hours you can book an individual appointment at violabeuscher.com.
Can I visit the ceramic studio in Frankfurt?
Yes, you can visit our Frankfurt ceramic studio during opening hours, as part of a pottery course, or during one of our regular studio sales.
Does Viola Beuscher offer ceramics for restaurants and cafés?

Is there a studio membership at Viola Beuscher?

Care & Quality of the Ceramics
Are Viola Beuscher ceramics dishwasher safe?
Yes, our handmade ceramics are generally dishwasher safe – but for a longer lifespan and to preserve the glaze, we recommend washing them by hand.
Are handmade ceramics microwave safe?
Our handmade ceramics are generally microwave safe, but should not be exposed to sudden temperature changes such as going directly from cold to very hot.
Why does my handmade ceramic have small irregularities?
Small variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of the craft process of handmade ceramics and make every piece unique.
What material are Viola Beuscher ceramics made of?
Our handmade ceramics are made from high-quality stoneware clay – a durable, robust material that is ideal for everyday use.
How do I care for handmade ceramics?
Handmade ceramics last longest when washed by hand, kept away from sudden temperature changes and stacked carefully.
