This piece is made of spotted stoneware clay and food-safe glazes. The lid is fully coated in a transparent glossy glaze, while the plate is glazed with a transparent glossy finish on the inside and left unglazed on the outside.
Our items are all handmade with lots of love in our studio and show the marks of the process. Each piece is unique and shares the same making process, BUT: due to the nature of the process, it shows slight variation in form, color and size.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
