Glow Glow Weiss 2024 Wine
Product Description
A natural white wine from Glow Glow, made by Pauline and Carl in the Nahe region of Germany. 0.75 l, 11.5% alcohol, no added sulphur.
The 2024 is a cuvée of four grapes: Bacchus for floral notes, Müller-Thurgau for structure and phenolic grip, and, for the first time in this wine, Riesling and Weissburgunder for elegant fruit and acidity. The Scheurebe that usually goes into the blend was lost to frost and downy mildew, which is what changed the composition this year.
The destemmed Bacchus and Müller-Thurgau were macerated overnight; the Weissburgunder and Riesling were direct-pressed. Some parcels fermented in barrel, others in stainless steel, all separately, and came together only in the bottle.

It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
