Organic Hojicha Powder 30g
Product Description
Hojicha is roasted green tea, a style first created in 1920 by a Kyoto tea merchant who roasted leftover leaves and stems over charcoal, and today it is drunk across Japan for its nutty, comforting aroma.
Our hojicha is imported directly from Kagoshima, Japan, in powder form and is prepared just like matcha: whisked with water or milk, with a touch of maple syrup for a hojicha latte.
The roasting lowers both the acidity and the caffeine of the tea, which is why hojicha sits well at any time of day and is traditionally drunk after a meal in Japan.
The taste is nutty and toasty, mild, with a hint of caramel. The tin holds 30 g, roughly 15 servings, and a matching 30 g refill is available.
30 g · Approx. 15 servings · Organic roasted green tea powder (hojicha) · Region: Kagoshima, Japan

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
We appreciate our community's feedback and use it to inform our collections, ensuring that our pieces resonate with those who use them while remaining true to our vision.
