Organic Hojicha Powder 30g
Product Description
Hojicha is roasted green tea — a style first created in 1920 by a Kyoto tea merchant who roasted leftover green tea leaves and stems over charcoal, now loved across Japan for its nutty, comforting aroma.
Our hojicha is imported directly from Kagoshima, Japan, in powder form, and prepares just like matcha — with milk, water, or a touch of maple syrup for a hojicha latte. Thanks to its L-theanine content and low caffeine, the roasting process reduces acidity and caffeine, making it gentle enough to drink at any time of day; in Japan it's traditionally enjoyed after a meal.
Nutty, toasty, and mild with a hint of caramel.
30 g · Serves approx. 15 · Organic roasted green tea powder (hojicha) · Region: Kagoshima, Japan

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
We appreciate our community's feedback and use it to inform our collections, ensuring that our pieces resonate with those who use them while remaining true to our vision.
