Product Description
A stoneware matcha whisk holder from Viola Beuscher, fully finished in a transparent glossy glaze over a creme stoneware body, made in Germany.
The form is compact with a rounded cradle, Ø 5 cm and H 5 cm — shaped to hold a bamboo whisk (chasen) upright between uses, keeping its prongs dry and in shape.
Each holder is thrown on the wheel from stoneware clay sourced from the German Westerwald, shaped by hand, and fired at 1220 °C after 14 days of craftsmanship and 12 work steps. The surface is fully finished with a transparent glossy glaze.
A companion piece for the daily matcha ritual, keeping the whisk within reach between whiskings. Whisk not included.
