Product Description
The black ceramic vase is handcrafted in our Frankfurt studio and combines a sculptural ceramic form with a deep glossy black finish. This black ceramic vase is made from high-quality stoneware and shaped by hand, resulting in a slightly organic silhouette with subtle surface movement. The form tapers gently toward the opening, creating a balanced proportion that works well for both minimal arrangements and fuller bouquets.
Each vase is produced in small batches using traditional ceramic techniques. After shaping, the piece is fired at high temperatures and finished with a rich black glaze that creates a reflective surface. Because the production process is handmade, slight variations in glaze flow, gloss level and surface texture may occur. These small differences are characteristic of handcrafted ceramics and ensure that every piece remains unique.
The proportions of the vase allow flowers and branches to sit naturally. Fresh flowers, dried stems or a single branch can be arranged comfortably thanks to the stable base and slightly narrowed neck. The dark tone of the black ceramic vase creates a strong visual contrast with natural materials and flowers, making it suitable for modern interiors as well as more classic spaces.
Made from high-fired stoneware and finished with food safe glazes, the vase is durable and designed for long-term use. Each black ceramic vase is individually inspected before leaving our studio to ensure consistent quality.
Handmade and handcrafted in Germany. Subtle differences in shape and glaze are a natural result of the ceramic production process and part of the character of the object.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
