Product Description
A set of four deep stoneware bowls with matte glazed interiors, made in Germany.
Each bowl is upright and deep with steep walls, Ø 18 cm and H 8 cm, holding 800 ml. Four of them cover a table for four: soup as a first course, muesli at breakfast, or a salad each. The depth keeps everything contained instead of spread across the surface.
Every bowl is thrown individually on the potter's wheel from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The interior carries a matte glaze, and the exterior is left raw and unglazed, so the grey clay body stays visible from the outside. Because each piece is thrown by hand, the four bowls in a set are close in size but never identical.
For a household of four, a shared soup course, or as a starting set for a new kitchen.
