Product Description
The Coffee Cup Blue Gradient is handmade in our Frankfurt studio and thrown on the potter’s wheel. Each cup is carefully shaped and glazed by hand. The surface features a smooth transition from a deep, dark blue at the base to a lighter blue towards the rim. The soft gradient is inspired by the meeting of sea and sky, giving the cup a calm and timeless appearance.
Because every piece is handcrafted, the glaze flow varies slightly from cup to cup. Subtle differences in tone and transition make each item part of the same series while remaining individual. The interior is finished with a natural glaze, creating a warm contrast to the cool blue exterior.
Designed for specialty coffee, this cup is ideal for flat white, cappuccino and filter coffee. It also works well for batch brew, hand brew or cold brew. The cylindrical shape feels balanced in the hand and offers the right proportion for coffee and milk, especially if you enjoy latte art.
Made from high-fired stoneware and finished with food safe glazes, the Coffee Cup Blue Gradient is durable and dishwasher safe. Handmade and handcrafted in Germany, created for daily coffee rituals and long-term use.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
