This is a classic 100 prong bamboo matcha whisk (chasen) with a beautiful black thread and a smiley logo engraved.
A good matcha whisk is an irreplaceable tool to make the perfect lump-free and foamy matcha at home. Remember to first sift your matcha before adding hot water, then whisk it in zig zag motion, preferably in our matcha bowls, for best results.
Soaking the matcha whisk in warm water for a few minutes before and rinsing after each use will maintain and ensure longevity.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
