Big Vase - Creme
Product Description
A tall stoneware vase with a transparent glossy glaze that lets the natural creme tone of the fired clay come through, made in Germany.
The form is slender and column-like, Ø 10 cm and H 21 cm, with straight walls that read clean against the surface they stand on. The proportion suits a single branch, a long-stemmed flower, or a small bunch of dried grasses; it also reads well unfilled as a quiet object on a shelf.
Each vase is thrown on the wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes waterproof without further sealing. A transparent glossy glaze is applied inside and outside; the natural creme of the fired clay shows through the glaze and shifts subtly between pieces, depending on how the clay took the firing.
For a single stem, a small composed arrangement, or as an unfilled object on a shelf or table.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
