Carafe - Creme
Product Description
A handmade stoneware carafe in creme with a transparent glossy glaze, made in Germany.
The form is tall and slender with a narrow neck and a soft pouring lip, Ø 8,5 cm and H 19,5 cm, holding 800 ml. The proportion holds water, juice, or wine for two to four people at the table; the narrow neck contains the pour and reads quiet next to glasses.
Each carafe is thrown on the wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes waterproof and food-safe without further sealing. A transparent glossy glaze is applied inside and outside; the natural creme of the fired clay shows through the glaze and shifts subtly between pieces. Fine variations in surface and tone remain visible — they are part of the piece.
For water, juice, or wine service at the table, alongside the rest of the creme range.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
We appreciate our community's feedback and use it to inform our collections, ensuring that our pieces resonate with those who use them while remaining true to our vision.
