Product Description
This set includes four Coffee Cups Smiley in the creme finish. Each cup is handmade in our Frankfurt studio and thrown on the potter’s wheel. The shape is clean and cylindrical with straight walls and balanced proportions.
Several smiley motifs are embossed directly into the clay while it is leather hard, becoming a permanent part of the surface. The exterior remains unglazed, highlighting the matte texture of the stoneware in a warm creme tone. The interior is finished with a transparent, food safe glaze. We use food safe glazes only. All cups are dishwasher safe and designed for everyday use.
The cups are suitable for specialty coffee such as espresso, flat white, cappuccino or filter coffee. They can also be used for batch brew, hand brew or cold brew. The proportions provide a stable grip and balanced volume.
As each piece is handmade and crafted individually, slight variations in shape and surface may occur. These are characteristic of the made by hand production process. The set offers a consistent and high-quality solution for both home and professional use.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
