We throw the Aleah pedestal bowl by hand in our studio from grey stoneware clay – handmade in Germany. The inside carries a glossy, food-safe glaze, while the outside is left raw and unglazed, so you feel the natural surface under your fingertips. Its raised foot gives it a quiet presence: a fruit bowl on the table, a catch-all for keys in the hallway, or simply a calm object in the room. Each piece is handmade, and small variations in shape and glaze make your bowl one of a kind.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
