Product Description
A set of six stoneware coffee cups combining three finishes from the Nomi series — Pepe, Creme, and Iceblue — with two cups in each finish, made in Germany.
The form is cylindrical with straight walls and a stable base, Ø 7.5 cm and H 6 cm, holding 180 ml each — a contained volume suited to espresso, flat white, or a small filter coffee. Nomi means “to drink” in Japanese; the series carries that spare, everyday character.
Each cup is thrown on the wheel from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. Pepe carries free black brush strokes painted by hand on the exterior, with a transparent interior glaze. Creme is finished with a transparent interior glaze and a raw, unglazed exterior in the matte grey of the clay. Iceblue is fully glazed inside and out in an even, cool ice blue. The three finishes work together as a cohesive set while remaining individually distinct.
For a coordinated six-place setting at home or as a small café service that carries variation within one series.
