Product Description
A stoneware coffee cup from the Nomi series with a raw, unglazed exterior, made in Germany.
The form is cylindrical with straight walls and a stable base, Ø 7.5 cm and H 6 cm, holding 180 ml — a contained volume suited to espresso, flat white, or a small filter coffee. Nomi means “to drink” in Japanese; the series carries that spare, everyday character.
Each cup is thrown on the wheel from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The interior carries a transparent glossy glaze; the exterior is left raw, so the matte texture of the grey clay body remains visible and shifts subtly between pieces depending on how the clay took the firing.
For specialty coffee in a quiet morning ritual, or as part of a layered tea-and-coffee setting alongside the rest of the Nomi series.
