Breakfast Bowl - Wavy Creme
Product Description
A stoneware breakfast bowl with a hand-shaped wavy rim and a transparent glossy glaze that lets the natural creme tone of the fired clay come through, made in Germany.
The form is wider and shallower than the Nomi bowl, Ø 18 cm and H 6 cm, with an irregular rim that ripples around the perimeter. The proportion holds a generous portion of muesli with yoghurt and fruit, a salad starter, a single pasta course, or a soup. The wave is shaped by hand on the wheel, so the rhythm of the rim differs from bowl to bowl.
Each bowl is thrown on the wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. A transparent glossy glaze is applied inside and outside; the natural creme of the fired clay shows through the glaze and shifts subtly between pieces. No two bowls are identical: the wave’s height and rhythm vary from piece to piece.
For muesli, salads, pasta, soups, or as a centerpiece serving bowl on the table.
