Saucer – Sage & Gold
Product Description
This saucer is part of our limited edition with the Düsseldorf jewellery label Ariane Ernst, thrown by hand in our studio from stoneware – handmade in Germany. A soft sage glaze carries a fine gold ring, hand-painted around the centre of each piece. It is made to go with an espresso or coffee cup, and works just as well as a small plate for a biscuit on the side.
Because of the hand-painted gold, we recommend hand washing. As each ring is drawn by hand, small differences in line and placement make your saucer one of a kind.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
