The Handmade Ceramic Coffee Cup Pink & Gold Heart is crafted in our Frankfurt studio as part of a limited collaboration with the Düsseldorf-based jewelry brand Ariane Ernst. This Handmade Ceramic Coffee Cup combines a clear cylindrical form with a small hand-painted gold detail, translating elements from jewelry into a functional ceramic object.
Each Handmade Ceramic Coffee Cup is made from high-quality stoneware and shaped by hand before being fired at high temperatures. The soft pink glaze is applied manually and develops a smooth, even surface with subtle variations in tone. Inside the cup, a small heart detail is painted by hand in gold. The placement and shape of this detail may vary slightly from piece to piece, which is characteristic of the handmade process and gives each Handmade Ceramic Coffee Cup its own individual character.
The proportions are designed for everyday use and suit a range of coffee preparations. The cup works well for specialty coffee such as espresso, flat white, cappuccino or filter coffee. The straight walls and stable base create a functional form, while the smooth rim supports a comfortable drinking experience.
Made from high-fired stoneware and finished with food safe glazes, the cup is durable and suitable for regular use. Due to the hand-painted gold detail, hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish over time. Each Handmade Ceramic Coffee Cup is inspected before leaving our studio to ensure consistent quality.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
