Product Description
The Handmade Ceramic Saucer Pink & Gold is crafted in our Frankfurt studio as part of a limited collaboration with the Düsseldorf-based jewelry brand Ariane Ernst. This Handmade Ceramic Saucer combines a clean ceramic form with a fine gold detail that is painted by hand, reflecting a shared approach to craftsmanship and a focus on precise material use.
Each Handmade Ceramic Saucer is made from high-quality stoneware and shaped by hand before being fired at high temperatures. The soft pink glaze is applied manually and develops a smooth, even surface with subtle variations in tone. The gold ring is individually hand-painted on each piece and frames the center of the saucer. Slight differences in line thickness and placement may occur and are part of the handmade process, giving each Handmade Ceramic Saucer its own individual character while maintaining a consistent overall form.
The proportions are designed to function as a saucer for coffee or espresso cups, while also working as a small plate for pastries or small servings. The slightly raised rim provides stability for cups and defines the outer edge of the form. The centered surface supports a balanced placement and complements the overall geometry.
Made from high-fired stoneware and finished with food safe glazes, the saucer is durable and suitable for everyday use. Due to the hand-painted gold detail, hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish over time. Each Handmade Ceramic Saucer is inspected before leaving our studio to ensure consistent quality.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
