The handmade stoneware egg cup is produced in our Frankfurt studio and designed as a compact ceramic piece for everyday use at the breakfast table. This handmade stoneware egg cup is made from high-quality stoneware and finished with a soft neon yellow glaze that adds a subtle but lively color accent to the table. The simple form with a small foot creates a balanced silhouette while keeping the design clear and functional.
Each handmade stoneware egg cup is shaped and finished by hand before being fired at high temperatures. The glaze is applied manually and develops a smooth glossy surface during the firing process. Because every piece is handmade, small variations in color tone, glaze flow and surface texture may occur. These differences are characteristic of handcrafted ceramics and ensure that each handmade stoneware egg cup retains its own individual character.
The compact proportions hold eggs securely and work well for both soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs. The small pedestal base elevates the egg slightly above the table surface while providing stability during use. The neon yellow glaze introduces a fresh color element and can easily be combined with other ceramics or tableware.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
