A twenty-piece stoneware tableware set in creme for four people, including cups, made in Germany.
The set holds four Nomi coffee cups (180 ml), four Nomi tea cups (260 ml), four Nomi breakfast bowls (Ø 15 cm), four breakfast plates (Ø 19 cm) and four dinner plates (Ø 23.5 cm). Five piece types, four of each, so a table of four is set for coffee, tea, breakfast and a main course at the same time. This is the point where a set stops being a starter kit and becomes the everyday service.
Every piece is thrown or shaped individually from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The Nomi cups and bowls carry a transparent glossy glaze inside and stay raw outside, while the plates carry the transparent glaze across the surface.
For a household of four, or for two people who host often enough to want a second setting ready.

It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
