A twenty-four-piece stoneware tableware set in creme for four people, with dinner bowls, made in Germany.
The set holds four Nomi coffee cups (180 ml), four Nomi tea cups (260 ml), four Nomi breakfast bowls (Ø 15 cm), four breakfast plates (Ø 19 cm), four dinner bowls (Ø 22 cm) and four dinner plates (Ø 23.5 cm). The dinner bowl is what sets this version apart: wide and low at Ø 22 cm, it takes pasta, curry, stew or a grain bowl as a full main course, so the table works for bowl food and plated food alike.
Every piece is thrown or shaped individually from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The Nomi cups and breakfast bowls carry a transparent glossy glaze inside and stay raw outside, while the dinner bowls and plates carry the transparent glaze across the whole surface.
For four people whose main courses land in a bowl as often as on a plate.
