A six-piece stoneware tableware set in creme for two people, made in Germany.
The set holds two breakfast bowls, two dinner bowls (Ø 22 cm) and two dinner plates (Ø 23.5 cm). That is the smallest complete setting we offer: one bowl course and one plate course for two, with a second bowl each for breakfast or a starter. It suits a two-person household, a first flat, or a wedding gift where a full service would be too much.
Every piece is thrown or shaped individually from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. A transparent glossy glaze lets the natural creme tone of the fired clay come through unaltered, and because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly alike.
For a household of two, from breakfast through dinner, and as a base that the larger creme sets extend without a change of pattern.

It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
