A six-piece stoneware tableware set for two people, combining a matte white finish with creme, made in Germany.
The set holds two Neo bowls in white matte (Ø 18 cm, H 8 cm, 800 ml), two dinner bowls in creme (Ø 22 cm) and two dinner plates in creme (Ø 23.5 cm). The two finishes do the work here: the deep matte bowl for soup and muesli, the wide glossy creme bowl for a main course, and the plate underneath. Matte and glossy sit next to each other without clashing because both come out of the same grey clay body.
Every piece is thrown individually from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The Neo bowls carry a matte glaze inside and stay raw outside, while the creme pieces carry a transparent glossy glaze that lets the fired clay show through.
For a household of two that wants depth on the table rather than a single repeated finish.
