Product Description
A stoneware dinner plate finished with a sprayed gradient that moves from red through pink into lilac, made in Germany.
The form is cylindrical and flat, with a vertical edge rather than a curved rim. At Ø 23.5 cm it carries a full main course — pasta, fish, a composed plate of vegetables — and reads as restrained on the table because the rim does not interrupt the line.
Each piece is shaped from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C, the temperature at which the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The interior is sprayed by hand with three glossy glazes — red, pink, and lilac — applied in successive passes so the transitions stay soft and never line up the same way twice. Because the spray is hand-guided, the position of each colour band shifts slightly from piece to piece; this is part of the surface, not a deviation.
For main courses, pasta, composed plates, or as a serving plate at the centre of the table.
