Saucer – New Dawn
Product Description
The Saucer Lilac Dawn is handmade in our Frankfurt studio and thrown on the potter’s wheel. The form is flat and minimal with a slightly raised rim to securely hold a cup or glass. Its proportions are designed to match our espresso and coffee cups.
The interior is finished with a glaze in a soft gradient from warm rose to cool lilac. The transition is created through controlled hand application. Subtle variations in tone and flow make each saucer individual while remaining consistent within the series. The exterior remains unglazed, highlighting the natural matte texture of the stoneware.
The saucer is designed to complement espresso or coffee cups and provides space for a spoon or small accompaniment. It is durable and suitable for everyday use.
We use food safe glazes only. The saucer is dishwasher safe and suitable for both private kitchens and professional café environments.
Handmade and handcrafted in Germany. Each piece is individually inspected. Variations in glaze transition are characteristic of the made by hand production process.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
