Product Description
A three-piece matcha set in creme, bringing together a pouring bowl, a matcha cup and a whisk holder, made in Germany.
The pouring bowl measures Ø 11 cm and carries a spout, so matcha is whisked and poured from the same vessel without a second bowl. The cup holds 250 ml at Ø 9 cm and H 6.5 cm, enough for a full serving with room to swirl. The whisk holder at Ø 5 cm keeps a bamboo whisk in shape between uses instead of letting the tines collapse.
All three pieces are thrown on the potter's wheel from stoneware clay sourced in the German Westerwald and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. A transparent glossy glaze covers each piece and lets the warm creme tone of the clay show through, so the set reads as one unified surface rather than three separate objects.
Everything needed to prepare and serve matcha, cold over ice on summer days or warm and comforting the rest of the year.
