Neo Bowl - White Matte
Product Description
A deep stoneware bowl with a matte glazed interior, made in Germany.
The form is upright and deep with steep walls, Ø 18 cm and H 8 cm, holding 800 ml. That volume covers a full bowl of soup, a large portion of muesli, or a serving of salad for one, and the depth keeps everything contained instead of spread across the surface.
Each bowl is thrown on the potter's wheel from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The interior carries a matte glaze, and the exterior is left raw and unglazed, so the grey clay body stays visible from the outside. Because the clay reacts differently to each firing, the exact tone varies from bowl to bowl.
For soup, muesli, salad, or as a deep everyday bowl for one.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
We appreciate our community's feedback and use it to inform our collections, ensuring that our pieces resonate with those who use them while remaining true to our vision.
