Sets of handmade stoneware cups and mugs from our studio in Frankfurt am Main, in twos, fours and sixes. Every piece is thrown individually and fired at 1220 °C, food-safe without further sealing and dishwasher safe.
Cup or mug
A cup here means a defined volume for a defined drink: 75 ml for espresso, 180 ml for coffee, 260 ml for tea. A mug is the larger, straight-walled everyday vessel you reach for when volume matters more than the ritual. If you drink one long coffee in the morning, buy mugs. If you drink several small ones through the day, buy cups.
How many
Two for a household of two, four to set a table, six in the mixed sets that pair several glazes from one series. Sets cost less than the same pieces bought singly.
Care and variation
All sets are dishwasher safe and food-safe without sealing. Because each piece is thrown and glazed by hand, the pieces inside one set match in shape but differ slightly in glaze depth and tone. That is the point, not a defect.
Made in Germany
Every cup and mug is made in our Frankfurt studio from stoneware clay. Individual pieces are available separately, so a set can be extended later without a change of series.
