Product Description
A small stoneware plate in a soft Neo creme glaze, thrown by hand in our studio in Germany.
The form is flat and compact, Ø 14 cm and H 1.5 cm. At that size it works as a side plate for bread and butter, a dessert plate, a cake plate, or a base for a cup and a biscuit.
Each plate is shaped from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. A soft creme glaze covers the plate and stays glossy after firing, with fine differences in tone from piece to piece.
This piece is a studio second, fully functional with small cosmetic flaws. It may be slightly warped, show glaze irregularities, carry fine hairline cracks on the underside, or hold tiny clay specks in the glaze. None of that affects use, and the plate is offered at a reduced price.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
