A twenty-four-piece stoneware tableware set in creme for four people, with three cup sizes, made in Germany.
The set holds four Nomi espresso cups (75 ml), four Nomi coffee cups (180 ml), four Nomi tea cups (260 ml), four Nomi breakfast bowls (Ø 15 cm), four breakfast plates (Ø 19 cm) and four dinner plates (Ø 23.5 cm). Three cup sizes is the distinguishing feature here: espresso after dinner, coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, each in the volume that suits it, instead of one cup doing all three jobs badly.
Every piece is thrown or shaped individually from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The Nomi cups and bowls carry a transparent glossy glaze inside and stay raw outside, while the plates carry the transparent glaze across the surface.
For four people who take their coffee seriously, and for a table that runs from breakfast through to an espresso after dinner.
