Coffee Cup - Yun Rouge Noir
Product Description
A handleless stoneware coffee cup from the Yun series, fully glazed in glossy rouge noir (a dark red) and handcrafted in Germany.
The form is round with softly curved walls and a small foot ring, Ø 9.3 cm and H 7 cm. It holds 240 ml to the brim and about 230 ml just below the rim, enough for flat white, cappuccino or filter coffee, with room for latte art. One cup weighs 190 g. The Yun shape sits naturally in the hand and reads softer than the cylindrical Nomi line.
Each cup is made from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. The finished ceramic is food-safe. The glossy rouge noir glaze covers the whole cup, inside and out. Glaze depth and colour vary slightly between pieces, as is usual for handcrafted ceramics.
The cups stack, which saves space in the cupboard. Yun Rouge Noir is available as a single cup, as a set of 2 or 4, and in a mixed set of 5 in five colours. For cafés and resale, see wholesale ceramics.
