Product Description
A small stoneware dessert dish on a raised foot, glazed in transparent gloss and made by hand in Germany.
The form is a round bowl on a short conical foot, Ø 11 cm and H 7 cm. The foot lifts the bowl off the table, which makes it a serving piece for one portion: dessert, ice cream, fruit, a dip or olives.
Each dish is made from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C, and the finished ceramic is food-safe. The transparent glossy glaze covers the whole piece, inside and out, and lets the warm tone of the clay show through as Creme. Glaze depth and colour vary slightly from piece to piece, because each one is glazed by hand.
