This espresso cup is part of our limited edition with the Düsseldorf jewellery label Ariane Ernst, thrown by hand in our studio from stoneware – handmade in Germany. A soft pink glaze sets the tone, and inside the cup a small heart is hand-painted in gold, so the very first espresso of the day becomes a quiet little moment.
Made for espresso: the compact form holds the heat and feels balanced in the hand. Because of the hand-painted gold, we recommend hand washing. As each cup is hand-painted, small differences in line and placement make yours one of a kind.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
