Product Description
A flat round stoneware tray with a central well, glazed inside in transparent gloss and made by hand in Germany.
The form is a shallow plate, Ø 20.5 cm and H 2.5 cm, with a low rim. In the centre, a raised ring forms a round well for a dip, olives or a small sauce. The surface around it takes tapas, bread, crudités or cheese.
Each tray is made from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C, and the finished ceramic is food-safe. The inside carries a transparent glossy glaze that lets the warm tone of the clay show through as Creme. The outside is left raw and unglazed, so the grey clay body stays visible. Glaze depth and colour vary slightly from piece to piece, because each one is glazed by hand.
