Product Description
A stoneware pasta bowl from the Nomi series with a raw, unglazed exterior, made in Germany.
The form is wide and shallow with a gently sloped wall, Ø 18.5 cm and H 5 cm. The width gives a portion of pasta room to spread instead of piling up, while the low wall keeps the sauce gathered in the centre. Risotto, gnocchi, a grain bowl or a shallow soup sit in it just as well.
Each bowl is handmade from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. The finished ceramic is food-safe. The interior carries a transparent glossy glaze, and the exterior is left raw, so the matte surface of the grey clay body stays visible and shifts subtly between pieces depending on how the clay took the firing.
For pasta, risotto, gnocchi, grain bowls or a shallow soup, alongside the rest of the Nomi series.
