Serving Bowl Pink - Pre Order
Product Description
A large stoneware serving bowl with a glossy pink interior and a raw, unglazed exterior, made in Germany by Viola Beuscher.
The form is open and generous, Ø 24 cm and H 10 cm, with a weight of about 1,5 kg that keeps it steady on the table. The scale suits a full salad, a pasta course for several people, or fruit left standing on the counter.
Each bowl is thrown on the wheel from stoneware clay and fired so the body vitrifies and stays food-safe without further sealing. The interior carries a bright pink glossy glaze; the exterior is left raw, so the matte texture of the clay body stays visible and the contrast between the two surfaces shifts subtly from piece to piece.
Because the bowl is thrown and glazed by hand, small variations in wall thickness, rim line, and glaze pooling are part of the piece.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
