Product Description
A set of two stoneware coffee cups from the Happy Edition with smiley motifs embossed into the clay, made in Germany.
The form is cylindrical with straight walls and a stable base, Ø 7.5 cm and H 6.5 cm, holding 190 ml each — a contained volume well suited to flat white, cappuccino, or filter coffee. Several smiley motifs are embossed directly into the clay while it is leather-hard, becoming a permanent part of the surface.
Each cup is thrown on the wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The exterior is left raw in a warm creme tone, so the matte texture of the stoneware reads softly against the pressed smileys. The interior carries a transparent glossy glaze. Because the embossing is hand-pressed, the position and depth of each smiley shifts slightly from cup to cup.
For a composed two-place setting at home or as a small gift pair.
