Product Description
A set of four stoneware espresso cups from the Happy Edition with a sprayed gradient from deep blue to lighter blue, made in Germany.
The form is compact and cylindrical with straight walls and a stable base, Ø 5.5 cm and H 5 cm, holding 75 ml each. That is the volume of a classic single espresso, with room for a ristretto or a small serving of filter coffee.
Each cup is thrown on the wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The exterior is sprayed by hand with two glossy blue glazes, deep blue at the base and lighter blue toward the rim, applied in successive passes so the transition stays soft and never falls the same way twice. The interior carries a transparent glossy glaze.
For espresso and ristretto at home or in a café setting. Every cup is sprayed on its own, so the four belong to one series without being four copies.
