Product Description
A set of four stoneware coffee cups from the Nomi series, fully glazed in ice blue, made in Germany.
The form is cylindrical with straight walls and a stable base, Ø 7.5 cm and H 6 cm, holding 180 ml each — a contained volume suited to espresso, flat white, or a small filter coffee. Nomi means “to drink” in Japanese; the series carries that spare, everyday character.
Each cup is thrown on the wheel from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. The glaze is an even, cool ice blue applied to the whole cup — interior and exterior — and forms a smooth glossy surface in firing. Slight differences in glaze depth and gloss occur between pieces, but the colour is consistent across the set.
For a coordinated four-place setting at home or as a small café service.
