Set of 4 - Coffee Cup - Nomi Pepe
Product Description
A set of four stoneware coffee cups from the Nomi series, painted by hand with glossy black brush strokes, made in Germany.
The form is cylindrical with straight walls and a stable base, Ø 7.5 cm and H 6 cm, holding 180 ml each, a contained volume suited to espresso, flat white, or a small filter coffee. Nomi means "to drink" in Japanese, and the series carries that spare, everyday character.
Each cup is handmade from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. The finished ceramic is food-safe. The interior carries a transparent glossy glaze, and on the exterior free black brush strokes are painted directly onto the unglazed clay. Because each cup is brushed by hand, the rhythm and density of the strokes vary from piece to piece, so no two cups in the set are identical.
For a coordinated four-place setting at home or as a small café service.
