Handmade coffee cups from the Viola Beuscher studio in Germany, simple in form and comfortable to hold. Every cup is thrown on the potter's wheel from stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C, so the body vitrifies and stays food-safe without further sealing. All of them are dishwasher safe.
Sizes and volumes
The coffee cups run from 180 ml to 240 ml. The cylindrical Nomi cup holds 180 ml at Ø 7.5 cm and H 6 cm, a contained size for a flat white or a small filter coffee. The rounded Yun cup holds 240 ml at Ø 9 cm and H 6.5 cm, with enough surface for milk foam and latte art. The flat white cup sits at Ø 8.5 cm and H 5.5 cm with 180 ml, wide and low by design.
Colours and surfaces
Depending on the series, the cups carry hand-painted brush strokes, a raw unglazed exterior in matte grey clay, an even single-colour glaze, or a spray-applied gradient. Because glaze and brushwork are guided by hand, no two cups carry quite the same surface.
Care, sets, and seconds
All cups go in the dishwasher and need no special treatment. Many forms are also available as sets of two, four, or six for a coordinated table. Cups with a small cosmetic flaw are sold as seconds at a reduced price, fully usable.
