Handbuilding Plate – Creme – Seconds
Product Description
A handbuilt stoneware plate with a creme glaze, made in our studio in Germany.
The flat form has a slightly raised edge. Its outline and surface retain the small irregularities of handbuilding, with the glaze settling differently in each dip and ridge. Suitable for lunch, starters, tart or bread and cheese.
Studio second
This piece is a studio second with cosmetic imperfections. These may include glaze irregularities, slight warping, tiny clay specks or fine hairline cracks on the underside. The piece remains fully functional.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
